Nearly two months since our last post!

Well, this time of the year sees a huge increase in business. The clocks go back, and the days become shorter.

Hello Again!

This week has seen a fantastic increase in visitors to our site www.lamps2udirect.com!

This is due to two reasons! One which is great, the other not so......

THE LIGHT BULB BAN - THE FACTS!

HOW WILL IT EFFECT YOU?

FROM SEPTEMBER THIS YEAR THE MANUFACTURE OF MANY STANDARD LIGHT BULBS WILL BE BANNED!

The news of the imminent light bulb ban was released earlier this year and caused chaos to lighting manufacturers and retailers alike!

For the first time in years manufacturers have increased all their prices on this range of lighting (As well as every other range) which means this increase has been passed onto the consumer.

From September, this year, manufacturers will not be able to put any non-clear bulbs on the market- regardless of the wattage they use! This is in addition to light bulbs that use over 75 watts of power!

Please be aware that this ban INCLUDES ALL pearl and opal bulbs. This includes Globe Bulbs, Candles AND Frosted Halogen Bulbs!

If you have fittings that do not take energy saving bulbs or simply prefer the light that a standard incandescent or halogen gives STOCK UP NOW!

Clear versions of these bulbs under 75 watt will still be available, but as mentioned above they will be in short supply, so purchase quick to avoid being stuck without!
